Adding/provisioning new module/offering in already provisioned Fusion Applications environment?
Many of you have asked this question to us whether you can provision additional module if you have selected only one module during provisioning process? Unfortunately, as on today the answer is NO
Currently due to limitation of Fusion Applications architecture, you cannot add an all new product offering to an existing Fusion Applications environment. But you can surely add/select a new option in existing offering by using Oracle Fusion Applications Functional Setup Manager. For example if you have provisioned and configured only Workforce Deployment in Fusion HCM then you can later configure other functionalities like Workforce Development or Compensation Management using Functional setup manager. But you cannot add Financials later (as on today) even though the interdependent functionalities are already enabled during installation. In Functional setup manager if you select the checkbox next to a product which is not PROVISIONED then it will show a message mentioning the consequences of doing so.
Oracle is already working on this and they will later enable adding new offering as well just like we do in eBusiness suite.
We are also checking with Oracle regarding when this will be available and will update you once we have a definite answer.
